Nightwing Pyjamas
He’s not back with grandfather at the league of assassins. He’s not training with brutal, inhumane tactics that leave him battered and bruised, questioning his worth every moment. His limbs don’t ache and he can’t taste blood in his mouth. He’s not fighting to the death.
He’s safe.
He takes in another deep breath and wipes at his face with the back of his long sleeve pyjama shirt, feeling the dampness from his eyes. The bright blue colour and soft material is another ridiculous, yet comforting reminder he is safe. Back at the league they wore itchy shirts and trousers to sleep. Practical incase of an emergency, but not comforting in the slightest. At home, Bruce - and mainly Dick, subject him to bright, colourful and incredibly gentle children's pyjamas with inane prints and matching designs.
