Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it. But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless. Not that anyone would believe it if he told them. (This story now has a TV Tropes page!)

"We're really sorry," his father says, in a teary-eyed, wobbly way. "But your friend, Izuku, he's... He's gone, son." Katsuki can do nothing but blink up at them for moments that feel like an eternity, eyes darting between both his parents in obvious confusion, disbelief, and, more than anything, indignation. "What the fuck are you two talking about? The damn nerd is standing right beside you!" During a battle, Midoriya gets hit by a villain whose quirk detaches his soul from his body. Stuck in a ghost-like state, the boy enters a race against time in order to save himself from permanently dying. Much to his luck - or lack of it -, the only person who can see and talk to him in this state is no one other than Kacchan. Alternatively: Deku and Kacchan are soulbound.

After All Might gives Izuku a much needed reality check, he has to find a new dream. When he learns that the support course at UA offers an emphasis in Intelligence and Analytics, it sounds like the perfect new passion for him to throw himself into.Who knew? Maybe Hero Analysis for the Future was never meant for his future as a hero, but for his future helping heroes... This fic has a discord.

Izuku steps towards the other teen, holding his hand out to shake, “I’m Midoriya Izuku by the way. We haven’t officially met yet, right? I don’t remember seeing you at the Entrance Exam?” The blue-haired boy pauses, studies his hand uncertainly before shrugging. “Shirakumo Oboro,” he introduces in return, hand phasing right through Izuku’s when he goes to return the handshake. A tour gives Izuku the chance to have everything he's ever wished for, including true love. Will he take it, or will outside forces, the past, and his own secrets keep him silent again?

When his mother dies, Aizawa Shouta takes his brother Izuku to live with him. About five years ago, Midoriya was framed as a traitor of UA. Everyone believed it except for a select few. He was thrown in jail for two months and later found innocent, but the damage was done. He decided to leave UA, and Eri went with him because she hated them for what they did to him. No one has heard anything about them since.

He had his reservations at first. But the more he watched the boy, the more he realised how much the boy was just like Yoichi. And just like how Yoichi was the one who started it all, he felt that the boy has what it takes to end it conclusively, once and for all. But not with how the blond oaf is doing things. He will need to take over. Just like how his quirk shifted the speed of objects however fast or slow he liked, Kudou is going to shift the gears of fate, so that the battle between good and evil is finally brought to an end. Though, he never could’ve foreseen developing paternal feelings for the boy in the process.

During the Dawn of Quirks, soulmates became an actuality. It’s common to have one or even two, but not six.

Waking up a few thousand years after your death to find a hero school built on your grave isn't the most fun experience. That, Izuku Midoriya can definitely say with confidence. He knew he died. He had to have, after all, his head was still severed from his neck. But the fact that scared him the most now was how he was back. And it took all of his strength not to constantly be seeing himself as a monster.
