After his dream is finally crushed, Izuku isn’t quite sure there’s anything left for him to live for, but...he can’t exactly kill himself either, not without hurting the people he cares the most about. So, when he realizes that the quirkless can’t technically be vigilantes, it seems like the best of both worlds. He’ll be able to save people even without being a hero and, if he happens to die while he’s at it...well, like Kacchan said, maybe he’d be born with a quirk in the next life. This fic has a discord.

All his life, nobody truly believed in Midoriya Izuku's dream of being a Hero. Not his mother, his childhood friend, his classmates or teachers...not even the Number One Hero believes in him. What is a Quirkless boy to do? Show the world it's wrong, that's what. Finally, after years of no one believing him, there was one man who did. After All Might left Izuku on a roof with the answer of 'no', one man who was not a Hero finally told the boy, "I believe you can become a Hero." Izuku wants to prove the man right. Short version: One person, who is NOT a Hero, finally tells him yes, and Izuku decides to become a Hero through the Support Course, making friends along the way. Shouto’s lower lip wobbles as he cries. “M-Momma hurt me and Father sent her away. I m-miss you Touya, please come home. It’s scary without you.” “Alright,” Dabi says soothingly while he glares at the heroes, “We’re going to my place then. Your nii-san’s going to protect you now, okay?” Shouto is accidentally rewound by Eri’s quirk in the middle of a villain attack, reverting him to a small child with no memories of his future. Dabi takes the opportunity to bring Shouto with him to the League of Villains headquarters to remove him from Endeavor’s clutches.

When Izuku and Katsuki were kids, they planned to become big music stars like their idol, All Might. With Katsuki on the drums, and Izuku singing, their dream was to have the best band in the world. But after a fight has devastating consequences, Izuku gives up on his own dream so Katsuki can shine. He stands by his side, and secretly (under the songwriter pseudonym Deku) pines for his best friend. That is until fate stumbles in. A tour gives Izuku the chance to have everything he's ever wished for, including true love. Will he take it, or will outside forces, the past, and his own secrets keep him silent again?

On especially cold or stormy days, when Izuku's bones burn and ache from years of horrific injuries, he uses Fa-Jin to heat himself up. It may not be as strong as it once was when the Vestiges were still with him, but it's in a perfect sweetspot to both be used as a combat quirk and as a personal heater. The only unfortunate thing is that a lot of the Hero Course girls also see him as a personal heater.

About five years ago, Midoriya was framed as a traitor of UA. Everyone believed it except for a select few. He was thrown in jail for two months and later found innocent, but the damage was done. He decided to leave UA, and Eri went with him because she hated them for what they did to him. No one has heard anything about them since.
