He’s not sure where that certainty comes from, but he knows it’s only matched by the certainty that he needs to hear it anyway. “What is it?” he whispers. Gojou’s eyes bore into him, their blue living and lashing. “Itadori Yuuji,” he asks, “do you want to save the world?” Satoru goes north. Yuuji is a casualty.

There's a man with slicked back pink hair that could've passed off as an older Yuuji and with the Curse User's Technique, it could've been. But– "Kill them, Sukuna!" It was sometime after eight thirty when Utahime was able to check her phone again, and the pit of anxiety in her stomach grew when she saw the slew of notifications that flooded her screen. She had missed calls from almost everyone she knew; every sorcerer, every window, and both principals. Her texts were flooded too, overflowing—but it was Gojo's name that caught her eye, because there were five messages that she hadn't been able to check, all spread out. Yuuji is finally back in Tokyo Jujutsu High, after living with Satoru-san for two months. It's harder to get used to it than he expected, especially since everyone except for him had enough time to get to know each other better. And he kinda misses his cozy life with the man. Yuuji tries to take advice from Panda-senpai on how to get closer to others and loses the bet. Now, as a punishment, he has to hug every person he sees in a day. Or: Yuuji's hugs are addictive, and all the victims would gladly take another dose.

Yuuji wakes up in a smaller body a day after a simple mission and Gojo helps him out.

Gojo Satoru’s plan to reform jujutsu society via the younger generation was on the move. Zen’in Maki, Kinji Hakari, and Fushiguro Megumi were all promising students and got stronger every day. If he was patient, he’d have someone new to call an equal. Gojo just had to wait. Or maybe not. He’d shouldn’t have been surprised; this was all part of the plan after all. He just didn’t expect them to take the form of a trans-dimensional, all-powerful, psychic six-year-old with a bowl cut. Gojo wasn’t sure how he felt about this, especially since the kid would need careful supervision to prevent any property damage or bodily harm via emotional psychic outbursts. Ultimately, it didn’t matter how he felt: Kageyama Shigeo needed a teacher and Gojo Satoru needed powerful students. That's all there is to it. Or maybe not.
