Gojo Satoru’s plan to reform jujutsu society via the younger generation was on the move. Zen’in Maki, Kinji Hakari, and Fushiguro Megumi were all promising students and got stronger every day. If he was patient, he’d have someone new to call an equal. Gojo just had to wait. Or maybe not. He’d shouldn’t have been surprised; this was all part of the plan after all. He just didn’t expect them to take the form of a trans-dimensional, all-powerful, psychic six-year-old with a bowl cut. Gojo wasn’t sure how he felt about this, especially since the kid would need careful supervision to prevent any property damage or bodily harm via emotional psychic outbursts. At first, Sukuna couldn't tell what was wrong with the body of his vessel. But something didn't feel right. Then he gathered control a second time, and oh. The Brat was dying of some kind of illness. And even using the reverse cursed technique didn't fix it completely. Well, it wasn't Sukuna's problem, was it? Or so Sukuna had to repeat himself. Because why was the Brat not doing anything with that? Was he stupid? He was going to die! Or: What if Yuuji was deadly sick and Sukuna was the only one who knew.

After witnessing a group of women practicing pole dancing, Nobara and Yuuji made a bet. Yuuji's honor is on the line, since he claimed he would dance on the pole easily without any actual experience. No one expected the results, not even the present dance instructor. This was the first bet that started the chaos.
