peter parker needs a hug

Peter felt the pain of his body trying to knit itself together even as it was torn apart. His spidey-sense screaming at him of the danger, danger that he couldn't escape. He begged anyway, begged Mr. Stark to save him. He knew it wasn't fair on the man... he did it anyway. Holding back tears, Peter apologized to his mentor as he fades away into dust. Green, a bright fluorescent Green fills his vision, he's drowning in it. Drowning. He can't breathe, the green fills his nostrils, his mouth, his lungs. Until he isn't, he's not drowning and he breathes in desperately, coughing out the green liquid as he greedily gasps for air. There's no one to tell Peter he's okay, not the warming presence of his Aunt, the scent of cinnamon to fill his nostrils, nor the motor oil he'd become so familiar with from his mentor. He was well and truly alone in this cold, dark world. Would he find a way home? Or would he have to create a new one in the unfamiliar world? (I've set this work as Mature for the heavy mentions and depictions of self-harm and suicidal thoughts)

“This young man claims to have been invited by you personally.”Tony has learned to read Happy’s expressions. That one is disapproval, and it’s highly familiar. “Peter is helping me out in the workshop today.”“Why?”“Uh.” Tony has enough presence of mind not to carelessly throw Peter’s alternative identity around. “He won a competition.”Happy’s expression flickers, grows tense. “I did not approve any competition that included a trip to Avengers Tower.”“Okay. Well. If we had theoretically organized a competition, he would definitely have won it.”-Tony’s life lately has been a perfect storm of incompetence. But perhaps he can get some solid spiritual advice from a mischievous teenager with a secret identity he meets by the side of the road one evening, like a lucky little leprechaun. If only Happy would stop being so paranoid about Tony inviting a random kid into Avengers Tower, sheesh.

Tony’s eye is drawn to one candidate in particular. A kid wearing a suit he looks so uncomfortable in that it’s shooting straight past comical to just heartbreakingly endearing. Chewing on the nail of his thumb, his knee bobbing up and down. Drops his pen, and then drops his clipboard when he bends down to pick up the pen.“Call him in first.”-Or: Pepper is interviewing potential new interns, each one looking more nervous than the last. Including one pale but determined kid named Peter Parker. What he has to say is not at all what Tony had expected.Spoiler alert: the kid doesn’t get the job.

It’s been four days since he became an Avenger, four days since Thanos snapped, four days since he and Nebula were left stranded in space, four days since he lost Tony, four days since Earth’s Mightiest Heroes lost. He wouldn’t consider himself mighty, not then, not now. Or… Peter doesn't get blipped, but Tony does. Where does he go from there?

Peters has fangs now. Sure, whatever, his life is weird enough already, but when he discovers that he also produces venom, it becomes a whole new problem. How will he figure out what exactly his new fangs are capable of? How is he supposed to fight the urge not to bite every criminal he comes across?Plus, as if he didn’t already have his hands full, a mercenary called Deadpool is insisting on joining him during all his patrols. Peter’s life is a nightmare, and all he wants is something to chew on.

It was supposed to be the family holiday that Peter never forgot. Except, he had been forgotten.

Tony and Pepper's son, Peter, had been missing for many years. Kidnapped in the middle of the night, no ransom, no clues as to where he went. They had always imagined being reunited with their son, him running into their arms, picking him up from the police station, a raid on a house where he was being kept. Little did they know they would meet their son after he had sunk into a coma after an attack of gun violence, DNA identifying him to his true heritage. Now the parents have to learn about their son from those who know him, an Aunt and Uncle and some best friends they cant seem to shake off all while waiting for him to wake. If he wakes...

As he walks out the door all heads turn to him and he can feel his face starting to heat up at the attention, it’s quiet for a moment before someone speaks up. “What is a kid doing here? How’d he get past security??” And then another, “Yeah how’d he get in here?” And another, “He looks like 12 what was security thinking” And another, “Must be a Tony Stark fanboy” Okay , that one might be true but still. As more people begin to talk at Peter than to him FRIDAY speaks up to end this starting argument “this is Peter, Tony Stark's personal intern, since Tony Stark is attending business Peter will be joining the other interns in the shared lab. Please welcome him.” Silence.

After Peter is snapped, he doesn’t simply cease to exist. Yes, he fades away like everyone else, but Peter materializes again. In a parallel universe, where he never existed.

Peter Benjamin Parker would like nothing more than a break. Between balancing an internship at Stark Industries, a pair of suddenly sticky hands, and his friend from summer camp making an appearance, he's still determining when he will catch one. or Athena was worshipped as the goddess of wisdom and craft, especially spinning and weaving.
