Shiro has been a Galra prisoner for over a year; with his flight feathers clipped and unable to fly. Desperate to escape, he jumps overboard while being transported to the capitol on a Galran ship. Lance is a merman who saves him from drowning. Keith thinks Shiro is about to become mermaid dinner. Hunk just wants Lance to stop going to the surface all the time, dammit! (AU where Avians (winged folk), Galra, humans and merfolk cohabit earth. Shiro and Keith are avian soldiers, Lance is the youngest son of a Queen, Hunk is also a merman and Pidge is still looking for her family. They get caught up in a war.) “So, we’re going on an adventure that will most likely claim our lives,” Wooyoung spoke up, giving his captain a rather cocky expression. “Is the treasure even worth it?” At that, Hongjoong’s face instantly mirrored the young spy’s own look. The smirk that took over his face was intimidating and reminded Seonghwa that Hongjoong was indeed wild, his eyes sparkling with a dangerous fury. He leaned over the desk and slammed his palm into the map that lay there, the sound echoing through the candle-lit cabin, and licked over his bottom lip with a firm nod of his head. “Aye, it’s eternal life.” Or: After being promised the adventure of a lifetime, Seonghwa had found himself wondering if this grand adventure was for him after all. With a combination of heart-wrenching guilt and the feeling that the crew doesn’t like him, Seonghwa does his best to forget who he was and tries to fit in with this rogue pirate crew who are chasing after a treasure no pirate has ever dared to retrieve before. Geralt manages to get his life saved by a peculiarly friendly Siren, and as payment agrees to allow the creature to accompany him, unsure as to why Jaskier would want to leave his lake behind, nor why he would choose Geralt to tag along with.

Taehyung who has never quite understood Jimin's fascination with humans decides that he wants to experience first hand what draws his brother to them. And who would have made a better guide than the guy he was about to drown?

Prince Wooyoung dreams of escaping the walls of his castle, only to be abducted by pirates and remain a prisoner. Although he would judge himself as the unluckiest, a pirate who makes his blood boil may or may not also make his heart beat faster, proving him otherwise. [woosan + seongjoong]
