Tony Stark is autistic and nonverbal. Which is fine, obviously, except for it means that Steve and Bucky don't have his words, and it only takes him a few minutes to decide they don't need to know he has theirs. That's also totally and definitely fine, until he goes and falls in love with them.

Tony snaps his fingers...and wakes up five days before the events that led to the death of JARVIS and the creation of Ultron. Peter Parker was back from the dead. At least that is what everybody told him. He'd been snapped out of existence until some sort of time travel and an active death wish by his mentor had saved him and the universe. Just your average sort of life for a 16 year old from Queens. The only thing that feels solid is Tony: the Blip and fatherhood have mellowed him and Peter loves the bond they have now. He knows Tony would be there for him through anything. He's been to space and fought aliens. He can get through anything. After all, if May is happy, he is happy, right? Right?

After the now-pardoned ex-Avengers settled back into the Compound, Steve finally went looking for Tony to have a discussion that was long overdue. The result of it wasn't what he was expecting--or wanting.

After the public death of a superhuman 15 year old, teenage superheroes are forced to wear government-issued clothing that marks them as underage.Or; Peter is backed into a corner, Tony Stark grows increasingly frustrated, and New York protects their own. Peter focusses on the pedestrians, on their whispering and pointing. At Peter. At his blue Regulation Jacket, in the middle of Times Square, blown up to epic proportions on the huge towering screens. Oh. “Oh,” Peter says, dumbly. “Oh no.”

peter parker doesn't know it yet, but he's the heir to stark industries. this fic is basically tony training him to be the heir by making peter act as ceo during the youngboss protocol, where peter takes charge of the company in case of emergencies. essentially, peter does cool stuff at stark industries and also there's a field trip fic in chapter 4, because everyone loves a field trip fic. multi-chapter fic!!

In the final fight scene of Captain America Civil War, Tony's helmet breaks off the armour after the relentless clashing it receives. What if the harsh hits to his head create serious complications for Tony, and he loses his sight?

Bucky braces his hands on his hips, and tilts his head to the side, expression caught somewhere between anxious, confused, and nervous. “Well, shit.” “Yeah,” Steve agrees, worrying at his bottom lip, and rubbing at the back of his neck. “That can’t be good.”

Tony is Peter's guardian, and has been for a while. The two have gotten so used to each other that they refer to each other as father and son. While on a field trip to the Avenger's Facility, Peter calls him dad.

Antonia Carter Stark takes no shit and no prisoners.

They’ve decided to start producing Bucky Bears again, now that he’s all shiny and redeemed and fighting for good on this big Avengers misfits team. "He has a little shiny gray arm," Bucky says, wiggling the stuffed arm in question, one of the tweaks made in the new model. It takes Steve a second to realize that Bucky’s got a small smile on his face, actually looks a little bit proud around the eyes. Or, Bucky relearns himself and how to be on a team, the rest of the Avengers try to get answers, and everyone watches too much Criminal Minds.

Tony's decision not to reveal his identity as Iron Man to the world was shrewd and calculated. Too bad it's about to backfire on him like a Jericho missile.

The bodyguard is incredibly well-respected in the superhero single parent community. He is also, Tony’s realizing, something of an asshole.
