It's been months since the events of Civil War, and the Avengers are doing their best to remain a team, having promised to forgive and forget. Unfortunately for them, Tony Stark's latest invention has been stolen and recovering it causes tension to reappear. Meanwhile, in Queens, Peter Parker has two main priorities on his plate — complete his midterm finals, and track down a fishbowl wearing criminal that may or may not lead him right into the hands of the Avengers. Somehow between all of this, Spider-Man's identity is revealed to the Avengers, Steve and Tony's friendship may permanently be damaged due to continued hidden secrets, and Happy struggles to buy a youth-sized casket for Peter's funeral. Things were a lot easier when they were fighting over Bucky Barnes. (Or: The Avengers welcome Peter into their crazy superhero family and will do anything to protect him.)

The events leading up to the embarrassing moments during the Doomed Field trip, and how Peter Parker accidentally ended up in charge of things. All the while the political machine moves on, the Avengers do not kiss and make up, and the future draws ever closer.

There were definitely benefits to dating a wizard. Now that Stephen was back in the Compound, Tony had an easy escape to anything and everything. Annoying meeting? Portal. Asshole teammates? Portal. “Oh, god.” Steve whispers, sounding as horrified as Tony feels. “You’re so young. Tony, he’s so young.” Spider-Man coughs once, a frail, baby-bird sound. . (They find his body in a Dumpster.)

Tony snaps his fingers...and wakes up five days before the events that led to the death of JARVIS and the creation of Ultron. He decides he won't let the future he lived come to pass, no matter how thoroughly he has to destroy the timeline. Or: Tony Stark will do anything to keep Peter Parker from turning to ash, and T'Challa gets dragged along for the ride.

“Hey Mister Stark, so I’ve got some homework and I was hop-” I cut off abruptly. Sitting in the middle of the polished granite kitchen of Tony Stark is the runaway Avengers. Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Bucky Barnes, Clint Barton, and Sam Wilson. Strewn about, they look familiar with the space, but still slightly unused to it. I suppose months away does that. “You’re not Mister Stark?” I say, slightly awe-struck. “No. We’re not.” Natasha says dryly, eyeing me up and down from her place perched on top of the counter. OR, Peter meets the Avengers, and they all love him, because how can you not?

With a snap of his fingers, Tony Stark finds himself with the chance to change everything. Armed with foreknowledge and his found family, can he figure out a way to stop Thanos before he snaps? They say hindsight is 20/20 and Tony is about to find out how true that really is.

Peter Parker was back from the dead. At least that is what everybody told him. He'd been snapped out of existence until some sort of time travel and an active death wish by his mentor had saved him and the universe. Just your average sort of life for a 16 year old from Queens. Peter comes back to find May has a husband and a kid. A new family he has to fit into. But he has done it before, he can do it again. The only thing that feels solid is Tony: the Blip and fatherhood have mellowed him and Peter loves the bond they have now. He knows Tony would be there for him through anything. But Tony needs to focus on his own recovery - not small time Peter Parker problems. When things at home take a turn for the worse, Peter decides that he'll handle it himself. He is Spider-man. He's been to space and fought aliens. He can get through anything. After all, if May is happy, he is happy, right? Right?

“What’s going to happen?” Peter whispers softly to his mother once they are alone again. Mary cups the boy’s face in her hands. For ten years she was able to keep her son away from the life of criminals and psychopaths. After she fled, Tony put in a rule that all hospitals must keep children in custody until a DNA test is completed. There was no way Mary could sneak Peter out. “He is going to come. I’m sure he will have a few Avengers with him. They will probably separate us.” Peter grabs her hands, “I won’t let them do that.” “Peter” Mary leans forward, placing her forehead on his. “Do not fight him. We are both going to do what he instructs. That is the only way to get through this. I…I’m sure he won’t allow us to see each other for a long time. Definitely not until he thinks we are compliant. If we just do what he wants, the sooner we will see each other again. Do you understand?”The thirteen-year-old nods his head, again allowing tears to flow. “I love you mom.” “I love you too.” The sound of the door opening causes the duo to freeze. Mary’s blood feels like ice when she hears an all too familiar voice taunt “Daddy’s home.”

peter parker doesn't know it yet, but he's the heir to stark industries. this fic is basically tony training him to be the heir by making peter act as ceo during the youngboss protocol, where peter takes charge of the company in case of emergencies. essentially, peter does cool stuff at stark industries and also there's a field trip fic in chapter 4, because everyone loves a field trip fic. multi-chapter fic!!

Bucky was returning to one of the small apartments Wakanda kept as safe houses in the States, when he was greeted by a tied-up teenager in the middle of his living room, staring at him with wide, panicked, deep brown eyes.--------------------------------------Bucky doesn't recognize the teenager someone has dropped off in his apartment, but that's not going to stop him from protecting Peter Parker at all costs.

Tony is hiding something. The Avengers notice the little discrepancies in Tony’s behaviour, and they eventually come to the only conclusion they can think of: Tony is having an affair. **** (i.e. Tony Stark and May Parker co-parent Peter and somehow the Avengers translate this into him cheating on Pepper)

Tony tells Peter Parker that a new intern is coming to work at SI for the summer. Peter's class is taking an SI field trip when Harley arrives. Good thing Peter decided to skip the field trip.

NWH SPOILERSAt 23:37 Doctor Strange casts a spell to make the universe forget Peter Parker. At 23:36 Tony Stark's heart stops for three minutes. When he comes to, no one remembers his kid, but you best believe he's going to do everything he can figure out why. He isn't going to lose his Spider-ling again.

Peter is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Or more literally, he's stuck between the will of ten other teenagers and the knowledge that if anyone finds out he's living with the Avengers he can kiss his normal high school life goodbye. Can he keep it a secret from his classmates that he's living with the world's loudest superheroes? And can he keep it a secret from the Avengers that he's accidentally bringing his classmates home for a field trip? And once he starts hiding things, keeping secrets, and lying, will he be able to stop? And even more importantly: will Ned be able to keep his mouth shut long enough for Peter's secrets to stay a secret? At least MJ can be trusted to keep a lid on things

“Something came up,” Tony says. “I had to make a detour on my way to our lunch meeting. I’m sorry you’re gonna miss those bacon sandwiches you like but…” Tony trails off and jerks his thumb, indicating the back seat. Rhodey twists around and jumps. “Holy shit,” he says, just shy of shouting it. (In which Tony is late for lunch with Rhodey and there's a good reason for it.) (A one-shot that has turned into a one-shot series.)

"I am going to find Tony," the man hisses in Peter's ear, his gaze cold and cruel. "And when I do, I will kill him, slowly. What do you say to that-" The man stops short because Peter's shoulders are shaking, and before he can curl his lip in victory, he hears a snicker. When he lets go of Peter's hair, the teen's head slumps to his chest, but it's not out of exhaustion or defeat...it's to hide a smile. The boy lets out a laugh, shaking his head before glancing to the sides admitting apologetically, "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, it's just- it is so fun to mess with you!" He looks around before snorting, "Tony Stark? That's your play? You're not screwing with me, right? You actually thought that would work? Sorry guys." Peter straightens in his chair with a sneer and a cocky wink, "Tony doesn't give a flying crap about me." In other words.... Peter is kidnapped and his captors think they can hold Tony against him. But they don't know what's happened in the past couple months.

But the one that caught his eye and made him stop, was a shade of highlighter blue so bright that it almost hurt his eyes to look at. He did though, too wrapped up in taking careful note of the dark text, stark against the obscenely brilliant paper, advertising his name. Reward: for anyone with information on one (1) Peter B. Parker. $7 And under that, in a delicate scrawl of purple crayon, the following sentence: “It’s all I have in my piggy bank right now. But we can do an IOU if you need more.” or; it’s been three years since Peter asked Strange to complete the spell that would erase him from everyone’s memory. Three years without anyone knowing him. Three years, all alone. All alone, that is, until he finds the poster advertising a reward for anyone with information on Peter Parker, with a note clearly written by a child. alternatively; Doctor Strange erased everyone’s memories. Everyone’s, it seems, except for Morgan Stark’s.

Thanos knows if he leaves Tony Stark alive, that Earth's mightiest defender will find a way to undo all of his hard work. So when he snaps and wipes away half the universe, he ensures that Tony Stark is one of those that fade to nothing. I.E - a what-if series of ficlets where Tony is dusted and Peter isn't.HAPPY ENDING GUARANTEED
