Kurama's still getting the hang of this ‘human’ thing, but given that he’s 30 years back in time with catastrophes to prevent and a blond brat to save, he’ll have to figure things out on the fly. "Apparently" is pretty dubious because Obito was not exactly born but more like spat out of death's stomach with absolutely no idea of what to do next. On the upside (more like downside) there's a Kakashi-look alike with a god complex and Obito really wants to fist fight god. or: There's a new curse that Gojo Satoru has the perfect conspiracy theory for. (To be fair, no one takes interdimensional ninja into account.)

The words dissolve into the rest of the white noise as he stares up at the blue of the sky, and tries to remember if he’d ever had a hallucination as bright as this. ‘I have to be dead,’ he thinks. Somehow, he isn’t. Or: Gojo Satoru goes back in time. He makes a couple of changes for the better.

Through a mishap with a hiraishin seal, Tobirama finds himself during Naruto's time and he is having none of this nonsense. His brother may be gone, but he won't stand to have Hashirama's dream trampled so. And if he has to cause a civil war or burn the village down to the ground? Well that depends on how much resistance he meets. All Tobirama does know for certain is that no child will suffer underneath the protection of Konoha and if he has to take them in and care for them himself, then he will. **here's to hoping updating existing chapters doesn't send out update alerts/emails. Orochimaru makes an adjustment in his sales pitch to Sasuke in the Forest of Death and everything changes as a result.The Leaf is corrupt, Team Seven is disillusioned and Kakashi suddenly has to figure out how to keep three overpowered Genin safe on the run when the whole world wants to take a bite out of them. A couple of steps to the side may take the path an entirely new direction, a few words chosen differently and the story may have an entirely new ending, and a small band of underestimated and untethered ninja who choose each other above anything else may shift the whole world on its axis.

After Sasuke finally snapped for the second time and destroyed the village(again), Naruto and Jiraiya have had about enough of the colossal mess the world has turned into. With a seal and a bit of guesswork the two of them pull their resources together and say adios to their timeline and jump backwards.
