It’s a good thing he was there, as Techno found several people were after Tommy’s head. Jack and Niki were always in the background, lurking, looking for the right opportunity to strike. The Eggpire wasn’t even trying to be subtle, attempting to lure him away. Even Tommy was smart enough to try and get away, but they were getting more insistent, and less willing to leave him alone. Techno was becoming more and more sure that one day they’d decide they had enough and would just grab Tommy and drag him off. Tommy wasn’t a horrible fighter, but even Techno would struggle against a 9 foot demon, a mercenary, and a possessed cat. He’d win of course, but he would struggle. Tommy wouldn’t stand a chance. OR-Techno decides that Tommy needs to be protected.
