It’s easy to forget with his bright smiles and positive personality that Midoriya Izuku isn’t the living embodiment of sunshine.Or: Moments when class 1-A and company notice that Izuku isn’t quite as pure as they think he is.

When Regulus Black woke up in 1991 after he was supposed to die twelve years prior, he realized two things. One, the locket he had worked so hard to steal had never been destroyed so the Dark Lord was still alive. And two, Harry Potter, James Potter's son, was in danger. OR Regulus goes to school with the Golden Trio.

Death was not what Harry thought it would be. An empty train and a being proclaiming himself to be the Death, telling him that, “sorry, no afterlife for you” certainly wasn't anywhere near his expectations. And having his soul and magic crammed back into his four year old body, being told that he can never die… That was another painful kick to the groin. But Harry is British, and the phrase “keep calm and carry on” is practically a part of him by now. He realises that this is a second chance at life. To actually live and do whatever the hell he wants without being someone else’s pawn. It is a new beginning, and things are going to be vastly different this time around. UPDATE: As of Novmber 2024 this story is in the process of being updated/rewritten.

In theory, the task is simple: kill Draco Malfoy. In practice, putting a curse through the Dark Lord's favoured lieutenant will take everything Hermione has―especially since he's trying to kill her, too. Even more so when the lines between them start to blur. Sometimes, the only way out is through.

After the events of War Crimes, Sokka and Zuko have escaped Zhao’s warship and are fleeing across the Earth Kingdom. As well as unfamiliar terrain, they have to navigate their shared trauma, work out where they fit into the war, and their place in each others lives. Sokka is aware that being friends with the enemy is going to bring complications, but he probably should have guessed that being friends with Zuko in particular, was going to be a bit like dunking your head repeatedly into a bucket of angry Fire Ferrets. Katara is also grappling with the confusion of befriending an enemy, something that doesn’t prove as difficult as she had expected with the bond of shared, furious grief bridging old wounds. (Learning a new way to look at her bending doesn't hurt either) Azula, struggling with the Fire Lord’s mistrust, encounters a few nasty surprises and has to make some difficult decisions. Luckily, she is a great deal better at making sensible choices than her brother. Her father may have made a slight tactical error.

Shortly after Will kills Garret Jacob Hobbs, he and Hannibal stumble into a D/s relationship. It's a relief to have Hannibal telling him what to do, but the closer they become, the closer he gets to realizing who and what Hannibal really is.

The experience was similar to when Harry had first entered Kings Cross in his first year. "That is ultimately up to you, young master."

There's a quote that comes to mind: “Treat a man as he is, and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he could be, and he will become what he should be.” If they'd been smart, the citizens of Konoha would have realized this. If you call a boy a monster, then a monster he shall be. Natsume has a head full of a past life's knowledge and the sinking realization that in this world, no one will step up to protect him and Naruto. As much as Tommy hated to admit it, he actually liked Tubbo quite a bit, and if he took the cloak off, Tommy was sure to be cast out immediately. Or, Tommy runs away from Dream, hiding his wings from everyone he knows.
