My take to Jon Snow was raised in Essos. His aunt is not who she made him believe she was, who she wants everyone to believe, who she herself believes herself to be. As he follows her west to conquer the Iron throne more problems add up to their already problematic and deteriorating relationship. A brother he hadn't dared to believe might want him or accept him.A family in the North he had been told had shunned him at his birth.
