"Don't do anything to him," Tommy manages, heartbeat throbbing and throbbing. "Please."
Wilbur frowns, but it's Techno who steps forward. "Tommy, he's not going to do anything," Techno tells him cautiously. "You don't need to worry, alright?"
To you, Tommy would say, if he was stronger. He's not going to do anything to you.
But he doesn't. Tommy keeps his mouth shut—whatever it takes to stay.
When Techno and Wilbur Soot-Watson anger a bully, it shouldn't be an issue. They are as untouchable as they can get, for students anyway.
It's unfortunate that Tommy, their foster brother, isn't. Being their soft spot, it only makes sense that he becomes the next target.
