The man raises his eyebrows, head rearing back in surprise.
“You really think I’m stupid enough to let you turn me into a vampire here and now?” He scoffs, twirling his knife threateningly. “Fuck off.”
Jeongguk can only stare at the man, mouth opening and closing as he tries to find the words to reassure him.
“I-I’m not trying to turn you, I’m trying to heal you,” Jeongguk laughs in disbelief.
“You do realize how stupid that would make me, right? It would be the complete opposite of our whole goal, I wouldn’t—"
“Whatever.” The man interrupts, jerking his chin at the blood trickling down Jeongguk’s palm. “I’m not drinking that.”
“Well you’re not going to make it to Seoul in that state,” Jeongguk argues.
