A year and a half after losing everything, Jungkook finally feels like he can breathe again. He has a small airship, he has a dog, and he has his own freedom. Loneliness is simply the price he pays for safety. But then his carefully constructed life is destabilized by the appearance of a supposed ‘government minister’ and his entourage, demanding a free ride.
The truth reveals itself piece by piece. Jungkook watches his carefully constructed interpersonal walls erode, crack, and crumble. Standing in a pile of rubble, he doesn’t think he’s ever been happier.
If loving these six others does kill him in the end, it will have been worth it.
