This work will alternate POV between Astarion, Gale, and Halsin, and focus on character exploration, and expanding on a lot of sub-plots from the game regarding the three of them. The main plot will revolve around Astarion’s gradual discovery of the Black Mass Ritual, and all the Infernal implications of its completion. His past trauma will feature heavily in this fic, and all that entails. The basic idea is that the Black Mass has been centuries in the making, and there are those in the Hells who would rather not see it succeed… at least not as Cazador intends.
