Headcanon: years after the Civil War, the rogue avengers are brought back to help fight Thanos. Things have changed and they really don't know how to deal with it. or When the rogue avengers come back and Tony, Rhodes, Pete, Vision and the Guardians have to work with them in order to stop Thanos, things have changed. They don’t understand why and they don’t like it but the people won’t let them hurt Tony again. or People really like Tony: Because was Tony who stood up for the people. It was Tony who fought and almost died to protect their interests. It was Tony who signed first when told they didn’t feel safe anymore. And they love him for it.

Dropping the books on the table, Tony sighed, "Okay, pass these around. They are important." Flipping through his copy, Sam's head was filled with questions. What the fuck? "Tony, what is this?" Waving a hand, Tony turns to the hologram presenting the words, 'Peter Parker Rulebook for dummies'. He said, "What is says on the tin. Pepper and I are leaving in a few minutes and Happy and May are off frolicking and doing things that I refuse to think about. As such, you, the Avengers, will be tasked with the important mission of handling Peter Parker." or: Tony Stark has a guidebook to Peter Parker. Here are the first 100 rules.

It's been six months since Civil War when Tony finds Steve sat in his compound. He has quite a few choice words for the man. (Essentially what it says on the tin. Tony yells at the avengers/ Steve for how they treated him, and then leaves to go Have fun And Be Appreciated by his new buddies, The Guardians.)
