When she awoke to a new life in Westeros, Ursula Mires nearly did the smart thing. Only a year away from becoming sworn to the Faith as a septa and being free to live in relative comfort and safety in one of the more prestigious Reach cloisters, she was content with her lot in life. Her advice, slowly fed to her father over many years, had enabled her family to survive the Dance and rise in station. House Mires had its legacy secured, until tragedy struck early that winter. Now Ursula is heir to a floundering House she does not want, in a war-torn land that she must drag out of the mud. Many ladies are in her position in what maesters would later call ‘the winter of widows’. Only Ursula knows what is coming next, and she’s not sure if her house will survive it.

”I... I don’t get it, Sukuna.” He then leaned away just a bit more and used his sleeve to wipe away the few stray tears. Sukuna smirked, showing a sliver of his teeth. ”What, how I did it? Frankly speaking, brat, I don’t think you would understand even if I explained it.” When in doubt; act vaguely mean. Just don’t overdo it. ”Heh, I probably wouldn’t, yeah.” The teen once again turned to look at Sukuna’s face. The weird intensity of his stare honestly freaked the curse out a bit, though of course only on the inside. ”But no, what I don’t get is,” Yuji paused for a moment, almost as if thinking of not saying what he planned on saying. Then, his face grew determined, and he began again. "What I don’t get is why you pretend to be evil.” Sukuna’s smirk faded completely as he froze, for but a fraction of a second, thinking What? Or; Sukuna does something undeniably kind. Yuji goes looking for answers.

You just wanted to help that teen girl at the bus stop get her book back before her camp bus arrived. She reminded you so much of yourself at that age. Unfortunately, while she escaped the Emperor's guards to live out her magical world fantasy you weren't so lucky. The Emperor keeps insisting that the Isles are much too hostile for a sweet little human like yourself. Or, how Belos collected you to be his perfect little wife only for you to turn around and dedicate your life to being the mother Hunter deserves.
