Grabbing his capture weapon from the hook on his door, he quickly left his apartment and made his way to the roof. *I swear if I find Tokoyami and Dark Shadow screaming into the void, I will throw them into the void!* Shouta thought to himself as he pushed open the roof top door. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust to the darkness outside, and when they did he felt his blood run cold with fear. Sitting on the edge of the roof looking down was none other than his number one problem child, Midoriya Izuku. What alarmed him even more was the soft sniffles and whimpering sounds coming from the boy.

When Draco's mother had told him about the Triwizard Tournament being held at Hogwarts, he'd pictured a fun year of following the action with his friends from the safety of the stands. He had not expected that Harry would be forced to participate, but maybe he should have. Things always happened to Harry, did they not?

With the return of the Dark Lord, the obstacles Draco has to face in his fifth year are of a completely different nature than he could have ever imagined. Between navigating his role caught amidst the fronts, fighting maniacal educators and teaching Harry to protect his mind from unfriendly attacks, he also has to deal with the challenges of teenage life, and that, mind you, might be the worst of all of those.

Draco had to wonder, though, why in Merlin's name it was always his family bringing about their doom, like a screwed up version of that ridiculous Muggle Christmas character Hermione had told him about. Why couldn't it, for once, be a distant Weasley relative to be led astray, or really, anyone who was not sharing a bloodline with him? But that would be too easy, Draco figured, and if his life was anything, it was always horribly difficult. Draco enters his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and if he expected himself to be used to drama and life-threatening plots this time around, he was, sadly, mistaken.

Our heroes did not come from a future where everything has gone horribly wrong. They did not travel back in time to save the world from a bleak or miserable fate.
