Happier Than Ever
Happier Than Ever
He could leave at any time. He could. It was all within his power. He was strong enough. He could walk away, make it all stop. He was in control of that, always had been, always will be.That was the mantra Izzy kept repeating to himself as he parked up his car in the street behind the bar. Turning off the engine, he let his hands rest on the steering wheel for a moment, taking slow, deep breaths. No one would know. He just needed to act normal. He’d been doing that for months now, no one had said a word. Izzy tries to break free of his abusive relationship with CJ, going to the only people in the world he knows he can trust - his ex-husband Edward Teach and his new boyfriend, Stede Bonnet. Inspired by the song 'Happier Than Ever' by Billie Eilish. Please mind the tags, abusive relationship, descriptions of violence and injury. But then lovely care and cuddles after.

Baby Baby Baby
Ed and Stede meet as strangers one night on a New York subway platform when Stede discovers an abandoned newborn baby. Both men are instantly infatuated with him (and each other). When they attend the court hearing for his case, the judge spontaneously decides to offer Stede custody, which he accepts– only to realize afterwards that she assumed they were a couple. The two men immediately craft a plan to pretend to be together in order to keep the baby, creating fake backstories, coaching their friends, and moving in together... into the same bedroom... and the same bed. But what they didn't anticipate was falling head over heels in love, not only with their son, but with each other. Inspired by the TRUE STORY outlined in this article Features: a very fast slow burn, fake dating, only one bed, pining while fucking, and other tropes

Nicest Thing
Izzy was a man (baby) on a mission, though. He couldn't let himself be distracted by beautiful things, not today. He took in a deep breath and started to work. The latches were tricky to undo from the inside of the crib. Izzy, however, had been preparing himself for this moment for days. One coloring pencil here (I don't like the way crayons feel in my hands, Papa!), one rubber band there (My match the memory cards can't get messy, Papa, I'll lose them!) and Izzy was ready. Through trial and error, he managed to reach around the bars and loop the rubber band on the latch on one side, then on the other. He was such a sneaky little boy. *** Izzy is being naughty, even though he is in fact trying to be good. Papa won't be pleased.
