In which Ford's attempt to survive entirely on caffeine and paranoia suffers some pitfalls, and things happen differently in 1982.

A Tale of Two Stans AU: Instead of fighting over the journal Stan tries to leave, but Ford isn't willing to let him go that easily. During the argument Stan comes into contact with a strange magical substance, and when he wakes up later he finds he's a bit smaller than he remembers. Now not only does Ford have to worry about Bill taking over the world, he also has to figure out how to turn his brother back to normal.

Happy endings are messy, and the Arctic winter is more difficult than either Stan or Ford want to admit.

A "Not What He Seems" AU, where Stan doesn’t escape government custody unscathed, and his reunion with Ford goes a bit differently as a result.

An AU idea (inspired by this post) where Stan threw a rope to Ford as he was being pulled into the portal. He let go of his journal in favor of grabbing the rope and it was lost to Bill's dimension. Stan had saved him and for that, he was grateful. They talked and forgave each other for the past and all seemed well for as much as a day. That was when Bill's ruthless anger became apparent and he took full advantage of his deal with Ford. Mabel looked Stan in the eye and, after a slightly hurtful amount of booing, started to tell her own story. “I’m going to tell a not terrible story called…Trooth Ache!” Stan let out a tired sigh, already guessing what his grandniece would talk about. She and Dipper had been on his case ever since yesterday when they decided to use magical dentures to trick him into telling the truth about every dirty deed they asked about. He would be proud if they just stopped asking So. Many. Questions. About. His. Brother. Unfortunately, when his brother stepped out of the portal he was...strange. Cagey. Weird. If Ford was an animal, Stan might even say feral.

A Sea Grunk Ford timestuck AU When Ford picks up a strong anomalous reading on the shores of Texas, nothing can stop him from finding the source. He discovers a seemingly innocent tape measure that gives off energy signals like nothing Ford has ever seen. Before he knows what's happening he finds himself stranded thirty years in the past with his grifter brother as his only ally. Together they have to find a way to send Ford home and avoid the many enemies Stan has made over the years.
