Only one precious week of winter break left! Incurably cold big brother, Gael (16), and inextinguishably warm kid sister, Camila (12), decide to spend it playing video games together in his room. UPDATE (2/11): I have added a new chapter today after a 10-day break, as a gesture of goodwill to fans of this bizarro plotline. You will all be happy to hear I don't feel done telling this version of events. But I must also confess I'm not sure I'm able to put the energy into this project that it deserves. I don't want to let the quality drop off, so my plan is only to come back when I have ideas worth coming back to, rather than to force this (extremely challenging!) plotline along in service to some imaginary deadline I've set for myself. Ed and Stede meet as strangers one night on a New York subway platform when Stede discovers an abandoned newborn baby. Both men are instantly infatuated with him (and each other). When they attend the court hearing for his case, the judge spontaneously decides to offer Stede custody, which he accepts– only to realize afterwards that she assumed they were a couple. The two men immediately craft a plan to pretend to be together in order to keep the baby, creating fake backstories, coaching their friends, and moving in together... into the same bedroom... and the same bed.
