awkward conversations

Only one precious week of winter break left! Incurably cold big brother, Gael (16), and inextinguishably warm kid sister, Camila (12), decide to spend it playing video games together in his room. UPDATE (2/11): I have added a new chapter today after a 10-day break, as a gesture of goodwill to fans of this bizarro plotline. You will all be happy to hear I don't feel done telling this version of events. But I must also confess I'm not sure I'm able to put the energy into this project that it deserves. I don't want to let the quality drop off, so my plan is only to come back when I have ideas worth coming back to, rather than to force this (extremely challenging!) plotline along in service to some imaginary deadline I've set for myself. Hope you all can understand. Meanwhile, my focus will continue chiefly to be on the Revised version, which has the lion's share of my attention, and which I hope to conclude in due course. *** NOTE: This telling diverges from revision after Chapter 6. After Katsuki tells his parents he and Izuku are together, the hag insists on hosting a Bakugou-Midoriya family dinner over winter break. Katsuki just wants to get it over with and go back to UA, where his overbearing mother isn't watching and criticizing his every move. If it weren't for he and Izuku sneaking into each other's rooms every night, Katsuki probably wouldn't be able to handle it. They've gotten away with it so far, but their luck's about to run out.
