The Justice League is hosting a "Bring your kid to work" day, but no one told Batman. Fortunately (but not for Batman) his kids have him covered.

Gotham Academy is taken hostage and due to Batman being on League business, Young Justice is deployed. While infiltrating the Academy, the Team meets up with Artemis, Barbara Gordan, Dick Grayson...and Dick's younger siblings. But seriously; what could go wrong?

Instead of the pretty manageable cookies explosion he was bracing himself for, Robin barged in the common room to get tackled to the ground by Batman. Okay, so he was used to that, even if Bruce avoided doing that where Robin's teammates could see it because it was just a little humiliating, and Dick liked to be seen as a strong independent young hero, and not as a sidekick that got tackled around by his mentor. But then again, having Batman's nice Kevlar cape between himself and the explosion was always appreciable. Plus, Batman had also protected Zatanna, so it all wasn't quite as bad as it could have been. It was after, when Batman cursed and knelled up, that Dick started suspecting something was really, whelmingly wrong.

Wally is alive. Dick isn't there. The team dances around it and tries to compensate. Wally can tell something is wrong.

"What time is it?" Nightwing asked and his voice cracked badly, showing just how scratchy his throat was. The Flash got the hint and zoomed away. He returned a moment later with a glass of water, passing it over to Nightwing. "Nine past three in the afternoon, why?" Nightwing frowned as he took a sip of his drink. "I mean the date?" "November 14th." "Year?" The Flash shared a confused look with Black Canary. "2010." Nightwing stared at the now half-empty glass in his hands. His mind went completely blank. "I'm in...the past?" He muttered out loud. His voice echoed around the white room and back to his ears, sounding confused and small.

Cryptid!Batman joins the Justice League, sadly it's been well over a decade since he's had any friends. In other words he's socially awkward and tries his best. The Justice League continues their search for the mysterious Court of Owls, but they have no idea what's coming for them. (Updates are currently sporadic)
