The loft was flooded, the water shimmering in the moonlight streaking through the huge windows. The twins held Derek on his knees, with his arms extended and claws out. Kali had Boyd, and she was dragging him toward Derek, and— Stiles aimed at the twin closest to him and threw the Molotov cocktail as hard as he could. (In which Stiles gets to the loft just a few minutes sooner in s3e7, and what happens because of it.)

Detective Stilinski goes undercover at a local high school to catch a killer and meets hot gym teacher Derek Hale. Stiles just hopes Hale is not the killer. But then again, he always did fall for the wrong sort of guy.

Stiles is Derek's mate, he knows he can never have him, knows he doesn't deserve him. But there is a new threat in town and he will do anything to protect him, protect his remaining pack member. He needs to be sure Stiles wants to be part of his pack, needs to know if Stiles can accept he and Isaac after Erica and Boyd left. Stiles could make them strong, make them a true pack but would he do it. As the threat moves in closer however it creates a bond between them all , that brings them closer than they ever thought possible.

It smells like smoke, that's what wakes him up. The Darkness that Deaton had warned about, well it seemed to be affecting her the most and she felt on the verge of panic attacks daily. She didn't mean to, but she started closing herself off to her friends and yet someone saw how messed up she was. Another wolf pack shows up in Beacon Hills, trying to disrupt the calm the Beacon Hills wolves have managed to gain. Stiles does his first job as an emissary and Scott claims every wolf, and human, as his pack - even the alpha twins. His claim will be put to the test when new creatures show up in town unlike anything they've faced before, and they don't care whose pack you belong to.

They lived in a world where they would never be fully safe. But they could try.
