Hermione was never one to admit when she was wrong. Every ounce of dark magic spent, and she still didn’t quite regret it. The ache in her bones, in her heart. It wasn’t enough to regret the outcome of this war. She is alive. Those that she loves are alive. That’s all that mattered. Right?
All Hermione wishes for in her eighth year at Hogwarts is to overcome the residuals of the war. Make amends with her classmates. Find the love she once shared with her friends. All she wishes is for things to return to how they once were.
All Draco wants is to find normalcy in the aftermath of some of his greatest mistakes. All he wants is for someone to see his choices as what they truly were. A ploy to keep his friends, his family alive. He desires peace.
