I began this story with the idea of basing it off of the Leann Womack song, I may hate myself in the morning, but I'm going to love you tonight. Then I wanted to see what journey it would take me on. https://youtu.be/gS35hISn7x0 Ashlyn Harris has been in love with Ali Krieger for over a decade but Ali won't give all of herself to Ashlyn. During a game in Orlando, Ali's actions become the straw that breaks the camel's back. What will it take for Ali to win Ashlyn back? Will Ashlyn ever love her again? Will Ali be forced to settle being friends with benefits? Can she live with that? Will she learn from her mistakes?

Ashlyn Harris grew up as a trouble maker, not a troubled child. Soccer kept her in line, and now, at her new university, the team was going to spend quite the effort trying to keep the blonde Florida girl from getting into trouble, especially Ali Krieger. Ashlyn becomes her freshman to watch and look after, and what that entails is something they both don't expect.(I'm still trying to figure this website out, by the way, so I'm sorry if some things just don't work out who I want them to!)

Basically it's a story that begins during the send off games before the World Cup and involves the Talex, Krashlyn, O'Solo, and Presston. It continues throughout the World Cup and into the NWSL season.

AU : Ashlyn Harris is an office manager in a Jeep dealership and a recent college grad. She is focused on working her way up the ladder and dreams of owning her own business one day and becoming a success. She has internal battles, secrets, and has all but given up on finding love. Ali Krieger is a successful finance manager who finds herself working in the same dealership as Ashlyn. She has achieved success at an early age and some would call her ruthless. Ali is career oriented and has set major goals that she would like to reach in the next few years. Both are growing tired of coming home to an empty bed at night, but a relationship is the furthest thing from either's mind. Then one day in September of 2001 changes everything.
