love him harder
Jimin likes to describe meeting Jungkook as coming up for air, because he feels like he’d been drowning up until that point, suffocated by his marriage and by Chanwook’s blatant disregard for his feelings. Until meeting Jungkook, Jimin felt as though he was uselessly kicking his feet in the water; no distance covered to show for it. There was something different about Jungkook. Something refreshing and easy. His presence wasn’t imposing despite their age difference, and his affections never made Jimin feel uncomfortable or smothered.
Jimin gets it now. He gets that he has been missing out on so much despite believing otherwise for most of his adult life.
Or:
Jimin's husband suggests an open marriage, never expecting Jimin to actually find a boyfriend in the process.
