Luffy disappeared a day after Sabo died. Four years later he came back with a slave brand burned into his flesh. Whatever happened to him made Luffy view the world differently. To Zoro's surprise, Sanji takes a step towards friendship, using food as his cover. Now their new friendship is deepening fast and Sanji almost can't keep up.

Zoro gets lost, Sanji gets captured by the marines, the Strawhats break into the ship's prison, and they all escape with a bang. Not exactly in that order, much to the confusion of Sanji's cellmates.

So Law had thought the Straw Hats had taken the battle with Kaidou as a personal vendetta for all the tears shed by Momosuke and all sorts of new Wano friends. The Hearts captain had been badly mistaken. Apparently, this was what personal looked like. (In which, Law and the Straw Hats will get angry for Luffy when he's not able to.)

Sanji has been in a coma for eleven months, but he's lost his memory of the past two years. Now, he doesn't remember Zoro, or the life the two of them have built together.

Zoro could always see the threads of emotion connecting people but not until he saw Sanji's did he care.

…as witnessed, told, and suffered through by the Bravest Warrior of the Sea, Usopp. Sanji loves Zoro. Zoro loves Sanji. They are also, somehow, obliviously, infuriatingly, in an unrequited love with each other. Usopp thinks he can do something about it. He really should have had more self-preservation instinct than that.

Ace, Sabo, and Luffy find out Yasopp left a kid back home and hasn’t been to visit in years. That is not allowed in their eyes. Worse, it brings Ace’s personal issues to the fore, and Shanks realizes they need to talk.

Sanji doesn't know what he's done in a past life to deserve this, but somehow when Zoro gets turned into a cat he's the one stuck on babysitting duty. How someone that small can cause so much trouble, he'll never understand. But even after all the hell he's put through, he still manages to fall in love.

Everyone tries to recover from Marinford, especially Ace. Meanwhile Luffy and Law try to parse out what to do about their missing crew members, Jinbe has a mission for Koala, and Silvers Rayleigh shows up with one hell of an offer.

Captain Kuro is forced to rush his plan when Usopp's three pals from the Grand Line come to visit for a few weeks. Poor guy never had a chance.

There were a number of things Sanji had expected when he finally came across the missing swordsman. But the one thing that never even occurred to the cook, was the one thing he found. Sure, if Zoro had been a woman instead of the stupid bastard that he was, Sanji would have feared it greatly. But.... Zoro wasn't.... he wasn't weak either; after all, he, Zoro, and Luffy made up the monster trio. But nothing changed the reality of what he saw in front of him. The crew all think something is going on between Sanji and Usopp, but the truth is nothing is going on...because the crew keeps interrupting them.

The crew has docked at another island once again and are planning to restock. Because Luffy had managed to piss some pirates off the marines are on their way and they need to get their asses moving again. But… where is their prissy cook? No one has seen him since he left to restock on food. As Zoro stays behind to look for Sanji the rest leave with the Merry. After having no success in town he goes towards the rain forest and finds what he is looking for. Something was wrong. As I came closer I noticed his clothes were ripped. “…Cook?...” He was bound to the tree with some ropes, on his knees. His feet also bound to it. Whoever did that must have known he used his feet and legs to fight. I squatted down in front of him. His head was down, his clothes torn up, there was some blood in his hair.

During a brutal and sudden storm something terrible happens to Sanji. And when all is said and done, he finds himself wanting to finally be honest with himself, to finally embrace himself for who he really is. With this in mind. When the Mugiwara crew runs into a very large hang-up on their journey through the New World, they temporarily split up. In the meantime, Usopp is dealing with an ongoing crush he’s had for quite some time. This side-trip could be the time to make or break the relationship he already has standing with the notorious love-cook. Nerves get the better of him while Sanji has some revelations of his own. It’s not just about jumping hurdles anymore. We need to Break Through them...

Zoro has his life set, he's going to graduate, leave for Grand Line city, and become the World's Greatest Swordsman. He doesn't need friends, and he doesn't need anything else. Sanji's got his life set. He's going to stay at home, stay at the Baratie, and take care of Zeff because he really doesn't want anything else. But sometimes, life makes plans for you. Zoro/Sanji
