A view of a mountain with a large peak in the distance
有些有趣的事,只能你知道。
You are standing atop the snow-capped fiery peak of Mount Doom, the towering volcano at the heart of Mordor. Tendrils of smoke rise from cracks in the earth, and rivers of lava ooze across the scorched plains. To the west, beyond the jagged Ephel Duath mountains lining Mordor's border, you can faintly see a sliver of green in the distance - the lush forests of Ithilien most likely. Continuing east, you see the lightning-wracked peaks of the Ash Mountains marching off into the horizon, seemingly stretching endlessly into the distant gloom. Southward, you can make out the twists and turns of the Morgul Pass leading to the dead city of Minas Morgul, its ominous glowing walls just visible in the mountain mists. As you slowly turn in place atop the fiery mountain, the full breadth of Middle-earth unfolds before your eyes... To the north, past the ashen wastes of Gorgoroth, you can see the Ered Lithui or Ash Mountains stretching far into the distance, their jagged peaks disappearing in a hazy gloom. Beyond them lies the great forest of Mirkwood, a shadowy sea of ancient trees cloaked in mystery and darkness. Looking farther west, you glimpse the glittering azure waters of the Belegaer, the Sundering Seas, shining like sapphires as the sun sinks below the horizon. Swiveling south, you see the mighty White Mountains of Gondor, towering over the fertile vineyards of Lossarnach and the green meadows of Lebennin. Taking in the full panoramic view leaves you feeling small yet filled with a sense of awe. As you take in the full majesty of Middle-earth from your high vantage, you are filled with awe at the scope and diversity of the lands spread out before you.
