Bridgette Cheng a.k.a Marinette is the protagonist that was featured in the Ladybug PV posted on September 6, 2012. Marinette was the original main character for both Ladybug PV and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat noir as Ladybug. Marinette’s name has been changed to Bridgette by the fandom to separate between the PV and current versions. It was confirmed by the creator Thomas Astruc that her name was originally Marinette from the start and there was no Bridgette. She wears a white overall with a black t-shirt and short jeans.
