From what they say, you learn that the city has ignored them. None of them received a hero's welcome and One of the youths has been stoned. Now they have sunk into sullen reminiscences about glorious days long ago; seven and a half years after coming home, the six surviving youths and five maidens of Athens are still fighting the darkness of Knossos.
