I've got something special just for you.
The Legend of Zelda is an action-adventure game in which the player continually embodies a character named Link. Link is a young boy, or sometimes a young man, who by force of circumstance finds himself embroiled in various adventures. This hero finds himself armed with a sword, a shield and a host of other rather varied items (weapons such as a bow, a grappling hook and bombs, flasks for storing fairies, flippers, etc.). With all this paraphernalia, he can roam to his heart's content, ending the game by rescuing Princess Zelda, daughter of the ruler of Hyrule. The main enemy is Ganondorf, also sometimes represented in his bestial form, Ganon. Other enemies include Vaati, who appeared in The Minish Cap and Four Swords, or Agahnim in A Link to the Past, as well as Majora's mask in Majora's Mask. The action generally takes place in the kingdom of Hyrule and involves the Triforce, a divine relic in the form of three golden triangles that can grant a wish to anyone who touches it. Over the years, the storyline has not deviated much from this basic premise, but various elements have been added to deepen the series. There are only three games in which Zelda does not appear in the strict sense of the word: Link's Awakening, where she is only mentioned at the start of the game when Link awakens, The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes and Majora's Mask, where she is only seen in flashback.
