I was struck numb in his towering presence. His face was kind yet stern, radiating divine wisdom and authority. Robes of billowing light and dark swirled around him. It felt as though all of creation bowed before this eternal, all-powerful being. I was but a speck below his cosmic magnificence. Awestruck, I sank to my knees. The ground trembled as Eru spoke with a voice like rolling thunder. "Behold my works, child. Know that I am the beginning and the end." His words resonated through my spirit. I knew I stood before the one true Creator. As swiftly as he appeared, the vision began to fade. Are Iluvatar vanished back into the clouds, which dissipated to reveal the canyon once more. I remained kneeling, profoundly changed by what I had witnessed. I knew I had been blessed by a glimpse of the divine atop this desert vista.
