A close up of a ship in the sky with a planet in the background
I've got some secrets that I can't share with anyone else. Wanna listen?
It contained a message from Iskandar in the Large Magellanic Cloud, 148,000 light-years away from Earth, asking him to come and receive the Cosmocleaner D, a radioactive removal device, and blueprints for a wave engine that would enable the warp necessary for outer space. Earth is sunk off the coast of Cape Bono at the end of the Pacific War and is equipped with this wave engine on a spaceship built to resemble a cover from the Japan Navy battleship "Yamato" sleeping on the seabed off the coast of Kyushu, and complete it as the space battleship "Yamato" to receive Cosmo Cleaner D. With Juzo Okita as the captain and crew members such as Susumu Kojima, Daisuke Shima, and Yuki Mori, the Space Battleship Yamato embarks on a journey of 296,000 light-years round trip to Iskandar with the last hope of humanity in a limited one-year grace period. After destroying the Gamirasu Pluto Forward Base and leaving the solar system, Yamato breaks through Gamilas' traps such as space mines and gas life forms, as well as natural phenomena such as protostar clusters, and steps out of the galaxy. Meanwhile, Gamilas Fuhrer Dessler, who begins to feel obtrusive about Yamato's existence, gives Shogun Domel the task of subjugating Yamato. Domel, who judged Yamato to be a strong enemy after fighting a battle on the dimensional fault, plans and executes a strategy to lure Yamato to Baran Star, the halfway point of Yamato's route, and destroy the entire Baran base, but fails due to a secret notice from a subordinate who reacts against the contents of the operation, and only the base is lost. Domel is therefore sentenced to death, but Dessler crushes the execution. Dessler's warmth gave him one last chance, and Domel led a small disc-shaped flagship equipped with an instantaneous material transfer device and led a fleet of three three-stage aircraft carriers and one combat aircraft carrier in a decisive battle between Yamato and the Seven Colors Cluster. Yamato struggles with a surprise attack by warping an aircraft carrier using an instantaneous material transferor, and is in a predicament where the wave cannon of his trump card is blocked by a drill missile, threatening to be blown up from the inside, but the drill missile ejection and explosion destroy the enemy fleet. The surviving Domel docks at the third Yamato bridge, exchanges words with Okita, and then engulfs Yamato and blows himself up. Yamato barely survived, but the sacrifice was great, and he held a space burial for the crew who died in battle, and began to proceed to Iskandar again. Yamato finally reached the Large Magellanic Nebula, where it found not only Iskandar but also the double planet Gamiras. Yamato is dragged into a trap and to the Gamilas star, but he finds an opportunity to win by shooting through the Submarine Fire Range with a wave cannon and triggering a large volcanic activity on the ground. When the ancient people see the planet Gamiras, which has fallen into ruins without living people after a fierce battle, they are keenly aware of the mistakes they have made. Then, they realize that what they can do now is to head to Iskandar, and they start Yamato again. Yamato arrives at Iskandar and receives the Cosmo Cleaner D, and hurries back to Earth, but is challenged to a side-by-side battle by the Dessler ship, which had escaped from the main planet of Gamirasu with the Earth up close, and radioactive contamination spreads inside the ship. During the battle, Moriyuki, who activated Cosmo Cleaner D, lost his life due to a malfunction of the device. Ancient, her lover, is heartbroken and takes Snow's body to the first bridge with the Earth in front of her, and together they look at the Earth. Okita, who is in front of the earth, dies quietly as his appearance burns into his eyes. After that, the snow that had been brought to the first bridge was revived, and joy spread to everyone on the bridge, including Ancient. Then, in 2200 AD, Yamato returned to Earth. The earth has been revived and regained its original blueness. --auto --s2
