A ancient city reclaimed by the forest, crumbling stone walls and towers peeking through a sea of dense vegetation. Once splendid castle and temples, now just vine-covered rubble and moss-laden ruins poking above the treetops. Intricate stonework barely visible under thick creeping ivy and moss. Empty streets and alleys totally obscured by huge gnarled roots and flowering creepers. Crumbling statues of kings and queens stand weathered and worn, as squirrels and birds nest atop their heads. A gentle stream trickles through the cracked central plaza, waterfall cascading through where majestic palace once stood. Only bats reside here now, roosting in the damp catacombs beneath temples. Birdsong and rustling leaves have replaced hymns and human voices. The mighty walls that once protected now gradually decaying as the forest reclaims its land. This drowned city a relic of a lost people, slowly being enveloped forever in the embrace of the woodland realm.
