The inside of the Tower was a mechanical marvel. Although it was an enclosed structure, the inside of The Tower was well-lit by daylight. But Hazel could not tell if that daylight was even real. No matter how hard she tried, she could not tell the difference between what was living and what was not. The greenery looked like real greenery although Alex assured her the plants were not real. Everything looked new and fresh and clean, and everywhere she went was luxurious.
