Welcome to the Otherworldly Prepared Meal Eatery!

Kaori is a 43-year-old housewife, living with her middle school son going through a rebellious phase, her elementary school daughter who has lost her cuteness, and her perpetually complaining husband. She was supposedly living a happy life…but it was anything but happy!! From morning till night, she was swamped with housework and a part-time job, with no one to praise her efforts. Doing things for the family was taken for granted, and her children and husband would only complain when she forgot or missed something. Even at her part-time workplace, the young manager would badmouth her, leaving Kaori completely demoralized. On her way home one day, deep in gloomy thoughts while cycling, she got run over by a truck. And then—she found herself in another world. What’s more, she seemed to have grown younger! After cooking dinner for the town doctor Kaemi and his disciple Koei, along with the big eater Taitsuu, they were so delighted that Kaori ended up lodging at Kaemi’s home. Utilizing her housewife skills from the modern world, she took charge of all the housework and had the idea of selling her popular prepared meals to supplement the household income. Today too, Kaori diligently prepares her simmering prepared meals, aiming to energize the people of this other world!
