In an era when numerous dungeons suddenly appeared in the world, soldiers and civilians explored them as “explorers”, bringing back wondrous products. Yuma Mitaka, a second-year high school student living a life unrelated to dungeons, one day discovered a gaping hole in the corner of his yard. Peering inside, he saw a metallic-bodied creature trembling. At first unsure what it was, he realized it was an extremely rare magical beast known as a metal slime. “Could this be a dungeon?” Though perplexed, from that day on, Yuma began the peculiar life of delving into the world’s smallest dungeon and continuously defeating metal slimes.
